A reimagined approach to Gimme5’s blog and the content area in the Explore section of the app has been developed, focusing on enhancing user experience and engagement.
Users who have been with the app for more than six months will no longer receive fresh content, as the current content delivery is tied solely to their initial app usage period. Additionally, the blog lacks a clear hierarchy and structure, causing confusion for users.

The Process
Using surveys, data collection in Google Analytics, and Hotjar to better understand our users and determine their preferences for the Blog and the education section of the app, we initiated a brainstorming session to identify different content sections and topics that would interest our audience. With a clear vision of the structure in mind, we collaborated with the engineers to validate the feasibility of connecting the blog with the app. Once confirmed, we proceeded to develop the UX within the app and reorganize the existing blog content for the new structure. This process concluded with the finalization of the UI and the delivery of the technical requirements.

The introduction of new categories, namely Academy, Lifestyle, Inside G5 Partnership & Co, and Meet the Team, has created a well-defined content structure catering to both new and existing Gimme5 users. This design framework was meticulously crafted to efficiently restructure existing content while concurrently facilitating the creation of well-organized SEO-centric content.
Explore section
Utilizing WordPress, we have connected Gimme5’s blog with the app to facilitate automatic updates of app content, ensuring users receive the latest information. We have designed a diverse structure that prominently features content related to the app, as well as educational content on investment and financial tips.
